 EXCHANGES & REFUND POLICY 

Online Exchange or Returns Policy
At HelgaMay.com, we want you to love what you’ve ordered. If you're not completely satisfied, you’re welcome to return your item up to 30 days after delivery for a refund or an exchange or a store credit (that never expires). (Product needs to be in original unused condition with hang tag still attached)

Stock purchased with 60% or more discount. Is considered clearance stock and is not refundable. Please choose carefully. Exchange or Store Credit is still available for heavily discount sale stock that you wish to return.

( NZ Only) For Shoes that are brought on a discount/ sales promotion and you would like to exchange for a bigger or smaller size.  Return shipping is at your cost  and we will cover the cost of sending out the new pair.



Conditions for Returns

  • Item Condition: Must be unused, in original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Proof of Purchase: Include your packing slip and clearly note whether you want a refund or exchange or store credit.

Exceptions 

  • Hygiene Products: Earrings, underwear, and cosmetics cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.

 

Exchanges / Store Credits (New Zealand Only) 

If your item isn’t quite right (size, colour etc.), we’re happy to offer FREE courier tickets both ways.

Step 1: Use the Contact Page to let us know what you'd like to return and what you would like to exchange it for or if its for a store credit (that never expires) Send us the product title or the page URL to the new item you would like to exchange for. We will reserve it for you asap, so it doesn't sell out.
Step 2: We’ll email you a FREE courier label and pickup instructions.
Step 3: Once we receive your return, we’ll send your new exchange item Free of charge too.

The above offer ALSO applies if you want to return your item for a Helga May Online store credit which you can use in the future and never expires. We will send you a Free courier return ticket via email.

 

Exchanges Outside of New Zealand (e.g. Australia)

  • Return shipping is at your cost.
  • We ship your exchange to you as our cost.


Refunds - Australian & New Zealand

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after items are received and inspected.

 If you paid with AFTERPAY, there non refundable 6% fee will be deducted from your refund along with the shipping fee. Return shipping is at your cost. 

  • New Zealand Orders
    Please allow up to 3 business days for processing and for 3-5 days for the  payment to appear back on to your credit card.
  • If you are returning all garments from your order and you received free shipping the actual shipping cost to us will be deducted from your refund. 
  • If you received  free shipping and your return means you would no longer qualify for free shipping. The advertised cost of shipping for your updated order will be deducted from your refund.
  • Any Shipping fees paid are not refunded.
  • Return shipping costs for refunds are at your cost & responsibility.

 

  • Australian Orders:
    For refunds, a minimum shipping fee of AUD $18 will be deducted for single-item orders. 
  • If you received free shipping for your order, the shipping cost charged to us by the courier will be deducted from your refund.
  • Return shipping costs for refunds are at your cost & responsibility.


 


How to Start a Refund or an Exchange

  1. Contact us using the contact form. at bottom of this page
  2. Include:
    - Your order number
    - The item(s) you're returning or exchanging 
    - The reason for return/exchange
  3. Pack your item securely (your welcome to reuse the satchel you receive your order in) and include: 
    - The packing slip with written note included
    - OR A note stating your request
  4. Use a trackable courier for return shipping if its for a refund. If its for an exchange we will send you a free courier ticket.


Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, contact us immediately with photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or a refund, including return shipping.
